If i am 15 and i want to take a course in proffesional web design where can I do that?

will a local college like ITT tech let me take a course. I don't care about the credits just to gain knowledge of how to design a web page.thanks so much

Reply:Personally, I would save your money and learn it on your own.


You don't have to go to school for it or take web design classes. You can save yourself a lot of money by learning the technologies on your own from free web tutorials or buying a few choice technology books. Many courses, especially in academic environments are taught by people who don't have the talent or know how to land great web design jobs. They are simply self-appointed "gurus" because they are the only ones in their academic circles who know some HTML.

Reply:If there is a local art college, many of them allow high school students to take summer classes. Or try looking at community centers or colleges with continuing education courses.
Reply:Try a community education catalog for the class. It doesn't give you the credit but the skill at a lower price and likely at a time that won't interfere with your school work.
