How much should a semi-professional photographer make for a web design project?

I am doing a web re-design for a local brewery and know that good pictures can make or break a really nice site. One of my good friends is a teacher, but has a great eye for photography and I want to hire her on to the project. What should I charge the brewery for her services? Note that this will be her first real professional experience, (Besides side jobs at weddings, etc)

The website re-design project is around $3000.

How much should a semi-professional photographer make for a web design project?
It depends on her equipment. If she is entry level, and using pro-sumer equipment, then she should charge less. I feel that most people know what they are worth. I've known businesses in the IT field charging an arm and a leg, for second rate product. Simply because you charge more, does not mean you are capable of doing a better job.

For an hours worth of onsite shooting, with lighting, scene prep, color balance, I would say over $750.

Hope this answered your question.

Reply:I would say about $300-500, because as you say, in website graphics and photos are extremely important.

You can also charge $15-25/photo, it's more economical.
